I have worn combat boots for 20+ years, so transitioning to a "real" shoe has made finding one that's comfortable exceptionally important. This is it! I love the Mandy (all Softspots, actually). The heel isn't too tall, but it's still nice enough to wear with a skirt. It's a sweet little shoe, but I did have to get a half size smaller. I normally take an 8W, but had to go back for a 7.5W.
