I bought these shoes in a double wide. When I put them on they were tight. Because I loved the design and really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, I wore them for almost an hour. Then I couldn't take it anymore. My toes actually went numb. These shoes are definitely not a double wide. The bottoms of the shoes are also slippery and not a rubber bottom. On the plus side, the insole was extremely comfortable. The eggcrate design was fantastic.
