I saw these shoes and fell in love. I read the ONLY review and was very hesitant about buying them, BUT I took the risk and purchased not just one, but two pairs. I purchased the brown and wine. So here's the spill. They aren't as snug as I thought based on the prior review, but if you have a high arch please be careful when determining whether or not to purchase this how. I have an awfully high arch and I know this usually poses a problem with flat shoes... this shoe does not cater to high arched wearers.
Also, they aren't comfortable enough to wear for an entire day. I wore them to a PartyLite show... I am a consultant... and towards the end of the show when I was packing everything up to go I had to pull them off. I wore them again on a day where I wasn't standing the whole time and they didn't begin hurting until hour 6 or so. All in all the look is undeniable, but it doesn't coincide with the comfort. But hey, looking gorgeous and being in pain are synonymous. (LOL)
 Beautiful, but painful March 23, 2008
Beautiful, but painful - They are on the shoe stretcher for awhile. Gorgeous shoe, but extremely painful. The top of the shoe cuts into the top on my foot. Wore them for 1 day hoping they would stretch, but did not. Hoping the shoe stretcher works.The materials used are exceptional, and the sole is rubberized for safety, and comfort. The drawback of this shoe is the overly tight elasticized top that holds the foot.
