Product Description Houndstooth heel with patent cap If you've got a craving for something sweet, you ought to treat yourself to the Oh Deer Toffee. Its handsome houndstooth pattern is a tasteful addition to your work or your weekend wardrobe. A tiny patent trim is bolstered by a shining toe cap, then echoed by a slim, sexy stiletto heel. Padded footbed. Fabric upper. Nonskid outsole. 4" stiletto heel. An Oh Deer original. Women's shoe. Imported.
Amazon.com Product Description The Toffee pump from oh...DEER! is a little confection that'll fully satisfy your cravings. Its fabric and patent leather upper has a retro, swinging sixties design that's been updated by the color-blocking effect, and made even sexier by the soaring stiletto heel. The padded insole, too, will help you avoid "the hotfoot".

Sexiest shoes ever! April 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have gotten a lot of compliments wearing these! They make me feel so sexy when I walk in them. Love them!
GORGEOUS! April 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These shoes are even better than the picture. And for a pair of ridiculously high heels, they are surprisingly comfortable! I can wear them all day without cringing. And that was without breaking them in. I'm just sad I'm so cheap because I won't buy these again unless they go on super-sale.
Love, love, love them! May 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These shoes are gorgeous, run true to size and are adorable! They are real standouts. I bought three pairs. They are a bit high so they are not for the faint of heart! I love oh...Deer shoes!
Overt shoes! Not to be averted! March 25, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
6.12.08 The heel's 4.5 inches tall!
Original Review: Once again I can't keep my hand out of the Oh Deer pot! Now thanks to Amazon I got one of three styles of the Toffee, the Geometric. However, both yellow and black houndstooth soldout here and I had to go elsewhere for less of the price offered by Amazon. Tsk, tsk. So there.:p
Toffee's style in general:
I found this shoe intimdating from the beginning. I was looking from afar though, at the pictures online. Now if you've read my other reviews on Oh Deer's pumps I believe I've stressed some nervousness in purchasing them because of the round toe they have. But as expected I had nothing to be hesitant about. When you have the shoes on your feet you'll wonder why you took all that time deciding. Just get the shoe; it's a whole other story! It's refreshing to have that round toe actually. I ordered a 10 and they fit true to size. I suggest insoles if you plan on standing for long periods.
Now the cap toe on the Toffee, threw me alot. It's part Oh Deer's Praline shoe and then something else entirely. But this was innovative! The cap toe, heel, and lining around the opening make the shoe well done. Imagine if the shoes had no cap toe, that would be a tad safe maybe. I would be a tad less interested in the Geo or Yellow houndstooth. I'm even thinking the Geo print would be overwhelming without the sexy black cap. And gawd the houndstooth shoes wouldn't be much to look at especially--the pair in black. How many times have you seen black and white houndstooth shoes before?
The cap topped it off, it finished it off, it made the shoe polished and complete.
-Toffee: The Geometric- I love this pattern! It looked GREAT paired with Oh Deer's Cher! This pump has proven to be just as GREAT! I love the pairing of the Geo pattern with patent black! Marvelous! It's so slick looking; the shiney black soles even amuse me! Well done!
-Toffee: Black Houndstooth- I found this shoe to be the most understated of the three I got. Again, how many times have you seen a houndstooth shoe? I mean they're not hard to find and tend to look the same. However, what I took into consideration and was charmed by was how large the pattern was woven and the cap toe! Those were definate turn-ons! The shoe is obviously more fun this way and beats alot of other houndstooth pumps. This shoe is just for keeping it simple. I can imagine wearing these for an evening party with a jewel toned violet top and black pencil skirt maybe.
-Toffee: Yellow Houndstooth- Again, I can imagine wearing these with a jewel toned violet top and pencil skirt also--just to spice it up! Now these made me wince the first time I saw them online. They're so loud! They were so wild and what the hell could you wear them with? But then the clouds lifted and some of my favorite online shops modeled and sold this particular pair(sometimes I have to see something being worn elsewhere and then I like it). And they are sellouts! So I had to have them! These are super casual so I can imagine them with a cobalt blue dress or jeans for now. The turn-ons remain to be the screaming yellow combined with the largely woven houndstooth. I like 'em enough. It's a fun spin on houndstooth!
So to conclude, it's not an impossible shoe. It's a flattering casual work and play shoe with a cap toe that compliments each pair!
Edit: 3.26.08 I wore the yellow houndstooth today! And of course compliments followed! I wore them with a gray tank under my navy blue-kelly green cuffed and collared cardigan, blue jeans in a dark wash, a tasteful scarf around my neck over a small yellow pendent, and silver earrings. It was LOVE!
Update: 4.26.08 -Toffee: Green Plaid- I got the plaid pair on a whim for $16. I wasn't really in love with these but I thought if I could get them at a steal, why not? Now, just my opinion but I thought these had no pizazz and I'm kinda still not seeing it. This could be because I had a school uniform with this exact pattern. This shoe seems like a great work shoe though, I'm sure I could find some casual occasions to wear it too. It's just the only thing that pops is just the cap-toe and heel. Because they're patent. The wool/material upper is such a dark colored pattern! I forget what the name of this particular plaid is but it's renowned for the forest green/navy combo, cause they do go together well. The green stands out alittle but not much, and the navy is kinda a mock black at this point. To me it feels like I'm wearing a black shoe with black patent at the cap and heel, and on occasion some green shows up in the material upper. But if you look at it another way, it's like a new kind of "neutral" shoe. Navy is a neutral and the green is the pop from time to time. Can imagine this being a standout in a room full of black heels though.
Cute Shoe Just in Time June 18, 2008 Got this shoe as a bridal shower gift for my girlfriend whose fiancee is an avid hunter/fisher/outdoorsman! No delays in getting them and when I opened the box I almost wish I had ordered some for myself. Perfect material and cute design!
