This Shoe Looks Cheap November 15, 2007

In my quest for a patent Mary Jane pump, I purchased this shoe after reading the reviews. Based on sizing suggestions in the reviews, I chose a 1/2 size larger. When the shoe arrived, it was of course too big, but size wasn't the only problem. The shoe was nothing like I expected. The round toe is VERY round, which gives it a little girl look; the heel was not 3"; and the patent leather looked more like plastic. The overall appearance of the shoe just yelled "cheap" in my opinion. Needless to say, it was promptly returned. And my search for a patent Mary Jane pump continues...
Disappointed... October 7, 2008
The stye is adorable and even better in person. I'm usually a 9 1/5 wide, so I got a 10 and the length was a bit big but not unbearable. Unfortunately, I wore them for a few minutes walking around in my kitchen and I thought they were going to chew my little toe off. They were just too narrow.
*Sigh* My search for the perfect Red Mary Jane continues. :*(
