I purchased this great bag on amazon in the platinum, and what a buy it was! I paid about 75 dollars and it was well worth every cent! Esp. when everywere else it was selling for no less than 100 dollars more! The leather is wonderful and i am sure it will hold up tp anything i put it thru! The braiding and the hardware make this bag look sooo expensive. But that is what i find with most jessica simpsson bags. I own a couple already and they are really well made. The platinum color is not extremely shiny so it doesnt look cheap or tacky in any way. I am just sorry i missed out on the satchel. I guess you snooze you lose on Amazon! One word- this bag is BIG! If you are looking for a small purse to put a couple of items in, its not for you. You can EASILY fit your regular purse items(wallet, brush, compact, etc)along with a hardcover book and water bottle(2 even) with room to spare. A really great bag!!

I got this bag, and was very excited. All my friends loved it, and so did. BUT, I have used this bag for less than 6 months, and it is falling apart. The leather handle started to peel away, which I have glued now twice. I even went as far as taking it to a leather store, to see if they could fix it. The guy said it is only bonded leather, and it is going to continue to do what it is doing. Then said, I hope you didn't pay alot of money for the bag. I didn't reply. IT GETS BETTER, the other day, one of the metal studs by the handle fell off, and I can't find it. So I have this hole by the handle now. If I knew it was going to do this, I would have never spent the money. And I would NOT spend over $100 for it, it should be less in my opinion.
