walking will take time, but in response to other reviews on not being able to put it on, just step on the rear of the shoe and once you have the toes where you need them, its easy to slip into the heel.

They look really cool, but don't function as walking shoes. These are "siting shoes" They bend your ankle at such an angle that you can't really stand or walk. I did manage a few hobbling steps with my knees bent like a 90 year old granny. So, you'll look super sexy in these puppies provided you don't get up.
