Product Description Higher heels create a ramp effect putting the foot in a tip-toe position with the foot sliding toward the toe and putting painful pressure on the ball of the foot. Invented by leading podiatrist, Dr. Howard Dananberg, Insolia Inserts shift weight off the ball of the foot and back to the heel (where it belongs). Caution: Not recommended for individuals with diabetes.

Really works! June 11, 2007 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
I used these on a pair of 3.5" heels that I would be walking in all day. I typically wear flats or low heels, so I expected to be pretty uncomfortable that day. It's a little tricky placing these in the shoe. You should try it a bunch of places before removing any of the wax paper so you don't run out of "stickiness" before the final placement. When it is placed properly, you don't feel it at all under your foot. But if it's just a millimeter off, it feels like a lump under your foot. Once it's finally in place, it's great! I spent about 9 hours in these shoes and probaby walked 3 miles during the day. These insoles really do take the pressure off the ball of your foot. My feet weren't even sore the next day.
Yes, They Work!! August 7, 2007 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Had to wear strappy heels for a wedding. Could not stand in them for 10 seconds without excruciating pressure (and strap marks)on my toes from the strap. Tried this product. It took about an hour ( the church service) to get used to the weight shift change, but then I forgot about them and danced the night away for 6 hours, no strap marks or blisters! They are not a cushion they shift your weight from your toes to your arch...and it was pain free!!
AMAZING January 5, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My boyfriend got me some pretty heels one year, which I wore once for about an hour and had to take off from the excruciating pain. I thought I would never be able to wear these things. Months later, a friend of mine who is a shoe addict says her life changed (I know, dramatic) when she discovered Insolias. I got my first pair at CVS, and was doubtful at first. These inserts are small, clear, rubbery things that pale next to Dr Scholls, etc. at first glance. However, I put them in the aforementioned heels, went to a huge function, danced, walked around, even jogged a little bit in these shoes for several hours. My feet felt great even the next day. Insolia has changed my life. There I said it. Enjoy.

When I first saw this product I wondered how a small piece of rubber could make any difference, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I have a pair of high heel boots that I love but rarely wear because they are so uncomfortable. I put the insole in only one shoe to see if I could tell a difference and by the end of the day all I could think about was getting home and putting the other insole in my shoe for some relief. Insolia made a surprising difference.
These are magic! July 1, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I still don't quite understand how a little insert in the heel/instep of my shoe can make such a difference, but they really do. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth a try. They are the best things you can do for your feet if you're wearing heels. I've started telling every woman I know about these (and even a stranger who overheard me telling a friend in the shoe store!). I bought one pair in a store while on the east coast to try. That store isn't around on the west coast, so I found them online and bought six more pairs! (The only flaw - they stick in place so you can't move them from shoe to shoe, you need one set per pair of shoes, but they are well worth it!) They really are that good. Read the little sheet that tells you how to place them in your shoes; you shouldn't feel a bump in your instep or heel. If you do, adjust them. Once they're in right you will notice a subtle difference. Your weight somehow shifts from the ball of your foot back onto the heel. I've stood for 6 hours straight (literally, no sitting at all during that time) and when I got home my feet were tired like they would be if I were wearing flats. If anything my heels were a little uncomfortable (but it was 6 hrs!) but the balls of my feet didn't hurt at all. Normally in heels I'd be in pain after an hour or two, and the balls of my feet would ache when I finally took the shoes off. I also put a pair in some strappy sandals. These sandals were perfectly comfortable if I wasn't walking a lot, but I found the straps would dig into my feet if I was doing a lot of walking. Once I put the inserts in, my weight stayed toward the heel of the shoe so there was no pressure toward the front and the straps didn't hurt no matter how much I walked. And no need to worry about appearance - they are clear, so they aren't really obvious, and they are made to be slightly in from all edges so even with sandals or open back shoes they can't be seen when the shoes are on. Save your feet and give them a try!
