These shoes are so rockin! I get compliments on them all the time, and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. They come in wide widths but they don't make your feet look like your wearing clown shoes.
I used to buy cheap shoes like never over 20 bucks shoes, and my feet always felt it, swollen ankles and the like, but I never have a problem with these. I wear them all the time now! They have cushions in the bottom, which at first made that little puff sound, but it went away in the first week of wearing them and now they are just as silent as any other pair of shoes.
I totally recommend the La Fons to anyone.

These shoes are absolutely fantastic from the moment I put them on. I did not have any wearing in (and do not believe one should have to 'wear a shoe in' to be comfortable). These shoes are comfortable from the beginning and the leather is quite soft. The inner sole has an 'eggcrate' pillow, which cuddles your foot and comforts every step you take. Plus, these MaryJanes do not make your feet look like clown feet. I am definitely buying another pair in black.

These shoes do run narrow - just order wider than usual. Great value and OH so comforable. Highly recommend.

Great comfort shoe for tired feet November 13, 2008
I have badly mishapen feet and have to rely on custom fit orthopedic shoes for a good fit and feel. This shoe is better than most. They look stylish and at the end of the day, my feet feel wonderful. I would recomend them for anyone with sensitive feet!
