These heels are very pretty, very shiny. I didn't first understand why they were called disco heels, but the heel itself is just very shiny, kind-of disco like. However, I don't think if they had the name disco on them I would have thought they were disco myself. So it's not really a make or break deal, but they are shiny. The rhinestones on top hurt my toes a little and they are very skiny heels. Practice in balance is needed, however, God helped me to not fall on stage in them! Overall,I really like these shoes, they aren't really that difficult to walk in if you're used to skiny heels, and they are very pretty. The store "Go Jane" was great with shipping them very early. I didn't want to pay the extra fee for faster shipping so I e-mailed them to ask them to send them sooner if they could, and they did very early! Hope you enjoy this item, I do recommend them
