In my never ending quest to discover and purchase mountains of shoes containing an exorbitantly high heel, I first became acquainted with this product. I was originally attracted to them due to the classic design, sophisticated color choices, and the six inch heel sans the platform. Due to my prior experience wearing six inch heels similar to this product, I had no trepidations concerning my ability to balance and walk in these shoes and the amount of discomfort to expect. Considering the immense height of this footwear, they were fairly easy to balance in, and I was able to walk confidently in them. I was exceedingly pleased with most aspects of these shoes: they were well made and durable, fairly easy to balance in, and exceptionally high whilst still retaining an aura of distinct sophistication and glamour; however I discovered one major fault inherent in the composition of this shoe. The Pleaser label that was glued to the insole became loose after a very short period of about fifteen minutes leaving exposed glue on the insole which I was unable to remove even with rubbing alcohol and much strenuous labor. Because of this exposed glue, I was unable to don these shoes without the subsequent result of having my feet become covered in glue. Fortunately, after much walking, the glue eventually dissipated and thus the shoe became comfortable to wear again. Regardless of this serious fault, I felt that the other elegant aspects of this product were so pleasing as to render me able to ignore this deficiency.
Despite the connotations that usually enshroud this range of heel heights, these shoes proved to be most elegant and are befitting an evening at the opera. Whatever the occasion, whether a casual picnic, a journey to the grocery store, an evening at a ostentatious restaurant, or simply lounging about the house these shoes befit any occasion lending it an aura of elegance and fun.
(ONE WORD OF WARNING!) If you are not familiar with footwear over four inches you will probably not be able to walk in these shoes with any degree of confidence. Due to the almost vertical slant of these stilettos, they often give the feel that they are about to tip forward and for those unaccustomed to this feeling it will prove to be very disconcerting. If you have acquired an interest in this type of shoe, I suggest wearing four inch heels and then after becoming accustomed to the height gradually increase heel height until you are confidant that you can walk in these shoes with ease.
I have purchased from this merchant numerous times in the past and have always been pleased with my ordering experience. The items arrived within the delivery estimate, although the shipping does tend toward being slow. All items are well and safely packaged. This merchant does provide tracking, which is a decided bonus. Sadly, this merchant has the unusual proclivity to expect payment. This seems to be a growing problem and has proved to be most irritating. I wonder where such a bizarre idea originated and why it has become so widely popular.

I was very pleased to receive my order earlier than expected. The only critique I have, is the glue label. It was mentioned in another review as well, but the Pleaser label on the sole of each shoe came undone after about 5 minutes of walking, leaving exposed and not quite so easy to remove, glue. I was also given the impression that Pleaser shoes tend to run small, so I ordered a 6 instead of my usual 5. There is a small but noticable gap at the heel, but I thought it best to just keep them as they are since there's bound to be a bit of space with any pump of this height. I measured the heel, and they're actually only 5 1/2" high. So other than those 2 small negatives, they are comfortable, as comfortable as tall high heels can be and I would definitely recommend them.
