For many years now, I have been scouring the globe for the perfect pair of high heeled shoes. A pair of shoes that defy the imagination with a graceful soaring heel that is the zenith of heel height while at the same time employing use of other essential shoe elements to create an elegant overtone that would befit an evening at the opera. In simplified, less pompous terms, these are a pair of shoes that are extremely high, yet sophisticated. I have found all these essential ascetic elements to be present in this shoe; yet one question still arises : can a shoe that boasts such an ostentatious six inch stiletto heel without a platform actually be worn or is the blinding pain and crushing agony too much to bear even for such a grand artistic endeavor? The answer is a resounding yes. I will refrain from insulting my reader's intelligence by claiming that this shoe is comfortable. As can be ascertained by viewing the picture or easily deduced by those who have worn heels over four inches, shoes boasting this height are always painful and cannot be worn for extended periods of time. However, this particular shoe is still very wearable and is more comfortable than I would have originally concluded. Due to my unbridled delight with these new additions to my wardrobe, I have attempted to wear these shoes around the house and have been rewarded in my endeavor. I have mostly worn five inch heels and was dubious that I could manage to balance in anything higher. My fears were immediately allayed when I donned these magnificent shoes and discovered that despite my trepidations, they are quite easy to balance in and within a few minutes, I was able to walk confidently in them. However, I will insert one word of warning, I was able to balance in these shoes since I have been wearing five inch heels (and the occasional six with a platform) for years, and I have become used to the feel of such exorbitantly high heels. For those of you who have previously been wearing a regular heel height and have not worn anything four inches or higher, you will find it impossible to balance in these! If you have cultivated an interest in heels of this height, I suggest starting with something four inches and gradually working into the fives and sixes.
