beautiful & comfortable retro style heels for skirts & dresses October 14, 2006

I saw these online at nordstroms, found info about Sofft brand & went to CC McKenzie a retailer in Oregon, these are so comfy, pretty & wearable. I wanted a heel that I could wear with skirts & dresses that could be worn all day, looked for months & all I could find were 3-4" stilettos or pointy-toe painful heels, if you want a perfect shoe these are it. They remind me of Jazz dance shoes I had 25 years ago, I like the fully lined leather insoles so you can wear them w/or without hose, also the 2 1/4" heel is just right, I wanted the black suede but they were unavailable, so I bought 1 pair in black smooth leather & 1 pair in chocolate suede on sale for $68.00 each. I hope they last for years to come, the quality appears quite good, I can't wait to wear more dresses & skirts with these shoes.

This was the first pair of Sofft shoes that I've ever purchased, and it won't be my last. I live in an area where there is a lot of rain and a fair amount of hills. When I'm looking at heels, I'm searching for something that is stylish and comfortable, but that also has rubber soles (so I don't slip and fall walking down a slippery hill.)
The Calypso was cute, and reminded me of Danskin tap shoes. It has a rubber sole in addition to having good arch support and a well padded insole. This insole is part of the key to comfort.
I found these shoes to run true to size, to be very comfortable, and to get positive comments. They are not the flashiest shoes I own, but they are a standard go-to on which I can always rely. They look nice with both pants and dresses.

Love this shoe. Adorable, first of all. Second of all, very comfy. I can wear it all day, and my feet do not hurt at all at the end of the day, even after walking around a lot. Great career or going out kinda shoe. Highly recommend.

I have always had a hard time finding heels I can last in all day without having screaming feet by the end of it. These shoes are amazingly comfortable! The fabric flower makes the shoes feminine and less "uniform-like" but is understated enough to wear in the most formal of business situations. A little costly for me - but definitely worth it.

Out of all the shoes I've ever owned, these are probably my most favorite EVER. They are super comfortable and super cute. I hope to someday own a pair in every color!
