 "Silver" not completely accurate...but great shoes nonetheless! November 9, 2006

While I am very happy with these heels and find them surprisingly comfortable (though I have not worn them for more than a couple of hours and certainly have not walked any long distance in them), I was slightly disappointed at first to see that the "silver" color is not really very accurate. I would describe this color as somewhere between silver and gold, with a somewhat distressed ("crackly") finish. After looking at the shoes for a bit, though, I found this color and finish quite appealing and would now recommend this color highly (particularly for holiday dress). I would advise customers looking for a silver shoe with smooth leather to look elsewhere.

I now own 3 pairs of Freda pumps: black, a sort of mahogony/brown small-reptile-print esque pair, and the silver listed in this sale. This pumps are very comfy considering the height. I wouldn't run a marathon in them, but for average work day's worth of tromping around, I have no discomfort.
THey are also very sexy - I feel sophisticated wearing them no matter what else I have on. At about $[...], the "silver" ones I bought via Amazon are great. As another reviewer said, they are more of a goldish-silver than a traditional silver. The best way I've found to describe them is "dark khaki, if khaki were metallic". They have a little texture to break them up, which is also great. I shopped and shopped and shopped, desperately hoping for a decent pair of shoes to go with a navy dress. Didn't want bright silver, hate gold, didn't want to go black or any other solid basic color. These pumps are really perfect - they're very very neutral, but dressy for a holidy party or cocktails after work. Also great under jeans. Man, I really love these shoes, and at $[...]-ish on sale (or even $[...] full price), they're wonderful. They are certainly a staple of my work wardrobe!

I said "Wow" when I opened the box. These shoes are amazing...even better than I expected. They are high quality for the price! They are quite comfortable considering the heel height, which is about 3-3/4" - 4" depending on where you measure. Very classy and versatile for any dressy occasion. Thanks Amazon!

I am a big Nine West fan and these shoes did not disappoint me. I wear these shoes regularly. They are comfortable and cute. The tip on the heel did wear down a few months after I got them but I had them replaced and these shoes are heavy in my rotation. If you are looking for a cute, sexy shoe that is still comfortable, then these shoes are for you!
