Very pleased with these shoes. There is really little I can say about them- they are exactly as described in both the product description and the other reviews. Stylish, comfortable, well-made. Inexpensive, too! I'm very happy with my purchase.
Very pretty little shoe August 5, 2006
I haven't worn these shoes yet even though I've had them for a while. When I first got them, I tried them on and they fit very well. I've read reviews that they may run larger than stated but these were fine for me (I wear a 9). The price on amazon is good too, much better than other shoe sites. I suggest you read reviews on this pair of shoes on other sites to decide for yourself what size to buy and buy them from amazon.
Maybe it's because I wear a relatively large shoe size but I felt that these shoes made my feet look bigger. I'm sure it wouldn't be so evident if I wore jeans or trousers. They feel comfortable enough to walk around in the whole day and unlike other new leather shoes I've had, these ones probably won't give me blisters on my heel.

They are pointy so they increase the visual length of the foot, but are very sexy and well made. The point is somehow more tolerable than similar pairs Ive owned. They did a fine job designing these shoes.

I loves these shoes. They are very comfortable. The heels are not to high nor to low. They are right down the middle for all day comfort. Make sure you break them in at the beginning. I like to wear them at home with two pairs of sox for about a week. It is worth doing and will save you the pain from wearing them all day.

Generally, I don't wear pointed toe shoes. Other than this one i only have one pair (boots) with pointed toes. But overall i admit that pointed toes look feminine and elegant. I ordered a black pair of this model and this was my first time purchasing Chinese Laundry and that's why i was a little hesitant. I checked online and found some reviews saying this model runs half size larger than average. That's why even though in closed toe shoes i order 8M (I get 7.5M in sandals) i ordered 7.5M and it fits great.
Based on wearing the shoes at home for sometime after i received the pairs yesterday, I can say that they feel comfortable. The low heel is easy to stand on especially if you are not used to high heel shoes like me.
From the photos it had looked a little less pointy to me but actually the front part is really pointy.
Overall these shoes look good in quality and the price offered here for the black pair was really reasonable (I paid 20 something for the black leather pair). In other websites I saw these were being sold for 55 dollars. Amazon.com gives really good deal on this model. Would recommend this model to everyone looking for something dressy yet comfortable and cheap.
I decreased 1 star because the inner sole of the shoe is not genuine leather (actually I know that if it was, the price would be different).
